I-75 PD&E Study

About the Project

The Florida Department of Transportation is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study to evaluate options for widening I-75 in Manatee County. The project limits for the PD&E Study begin north of University Parkway and end north of Moccasin Wallow Road. The PD&E project length is approximately 15.5 miles. In addition to the PD&E Study, a traffic study which evaluates possible improvements for interchanges will be conducted. The limits of the traffic study extend from SR 681 in Sarasota County to north of Moccasin Wallow Road in Manatee County. A new Port Manatee connection between US 41 and I-75 is also being evaluated as part of The Port Manatee Connector PD&E Study.
